12 London Knights heading to NHL Rookie camps
The London Knights 2025-26 roster currently has seven National Hockey League draft picks on it. Add that to the four players who have received invites to rookie and prospect camps and throw in Will Nicholl who could possibly return to London (not expected but never say never) and you have an even dozen London players getting set to showcase their skills starting Sept.12.
NHL Rookie and prospect camps feature head-to-head games and tournament-style formats.
For years the London Knights have been leading the Canadian Hockey League in the number of alumni who make it to the National Hockey League.
When you average it out CHL teams should have between six and nine active alumni in the National Hockey League.
By the numbers the Knights tend to have triple and even quadruple that number every single season.
And those totals start from the players drafted from their team and even players who make a name for themselves at rookie camps.
